Just the fact that they went out of their way to create a thread like that to proudly showcase their darkest inhumane thoughts about us should also serve as an indicator to black men just how much a lot of black women devalue and dehumanize black men and boys.

It's time to stop living in denial and romanticizing black women and our collective relationship with them when there's clearly SOMETHING rotten to the core about it.

We should also question whether we as a group even NEED to consider any female group as companions at all. I think we should each personally just take every woman we deal with and judge them individual based on our own interest divorced from any racial/ethnic ties we have to them, especially on a collective level. After all what good is us placing all of these racial 'obligations' on ourselves for them if it's not reciprocated?

Any relationship with a group with THAT many people who feel that way is going to be toxic and detrimental. Better to keep them at arms length.

lsa represents a extremely small portion of the collective of black women.
when black men get wrongfully arrested or shot it's always black women at for front of the march.

LSA is a discussion forum specifically catered to black women, thus it represents a microcosm of the collective black female consciousness. This isn't an issue of sample size otherwise you'd have a SLEW of black women outside that forum railing against them for their outrageous material like there's no tomorrow. But, you don't. Instead you see a bunch of blogs, vlogs, social media pages, and websites also created by and catering to black women with similar material. The evidence is clear- LSA is not just an outlier.

And the modern movement against police brutality was spearheaded by straight black men in ferguson, not black lgbt, and not black women who like to give themselves credit for straight black men's work.

And all of the people who have given their lives fighting for it have also been straight black men ie Deandre Joshua, Shawn Gray, Darren Seals, Edward Crawford, Micah Johnson, Gavin Long, Muhiydin Moye, not black lgbt or black women.

At lot of the coli would be kicked out of their homes. Black women provide and hold up the black community more than black men.

Black men currently are far more likely to be homeless than any other demographic in the nation.

Black men are being held up by the streets, not black women, who themselves are being held up by tax funded social services and benevolent sexist initiatives aimed at 'minority groups', because they're less intimidating and tick more 'intersectional' boxes than us.

I don’t go to the lsa forum at all anymore. I’ve visited there probably less than a couple dozen times total with the last time being over a year ago. Some years back there just so happened to be a site wide “scandal” one of the times that I lurked. Something happened with all of the users that were registered through Facebook. The posters themselves didn’t lose anonymity but everyone that registered that way had their real Facebook profiles show up on the forum. Turns out the majority of the users that got exposed were white women and even quite a bit of white guys had their profiles show up too. I’m talking avg looking, middle aged, coworker at the office white guys too not young, flamboyant dudes. Idk if the threads have been deleted but maybe one of y’all can look.

I say that to say this: I’m tired of some of y’all immediately shytting on black ppl and going straight to the c00n/bedwench insults. For whatever reason a lot of y’all are naive and really don’t think there’s such a thing as digital blackface or that it’s not a common occurrence on black forums. I can’t speak for other posters that call out white trolls but that lsa situation is why I personally am skeptical of posters here. I’ve seen the long list of cac Facebook pages that showed up that time on lsa. I’m not saying there aren’t any mentally ill black women on there that disrespect black men but i am saying without a doubt many of y’all are getting played for fools by these non black trolls and in the end you only hurt yourselves. It’s you that carries that resentment towards black women.

Honestly idk how anyone can read that site and NOT be able tell there are a lot of non blacks there. It’s a cot damn gossip site and half of the celebs they were talking about black women don’t even be checking for. Same for thecoli. Posters like to front in this sub forum but catch em in the booth, film room, or another sub forum and it’s harder for them to keep up the charade. A lot of these “c00n this bedwench that” posters are wild suspect for not being able to tell the difference.

This and you should question every so called urban site.

I've lived in Seattle for five years, and Austin for four.

I've gone years without any meaningful interaction with black women, outside of phone calls to family back home, and I have yet to feel like I've lost out.

That's not to say you would or should feel the same - but that it is certainly possible to be black, and not only cope, but thrive.

If you're one of those "Black women or Bust" type dudes, then I can understand why it'd be difficult.

I know this is a parody of the lsa thread, but the whole premise of this discussion extremely disturbing. We shouldn't be polling on how the erasure of any group of people would benefit us. It's not our or anyone's place to decide on something like that.

But at the same time, if that's truly your personal experience then I see nothing wrong with it. Black men should be the last people imposing a sense of dependency, debt, or obligation to black women on each other. To each his own when it comes to that.
