The bears staple for years has been it's defense

The defense made plays and put points on the board and helped cutler a ton in that season he made the playoffs.

With that said it's clear the front office has abandoned the idea of the defense being the staple and they wanted to make the offense that. So therefore it does fall on cutler aka diet farve.

Many teams know he has a gun slinger mentality and the bills gave him a short field and just waited for diet farve to try to make that big play he stuck on trying to make. If that will be the blueprint for the rest of the season to defend the bears it def will fall on cutler if he can't find the composure and leadership to patiently pick that shyt apart.

Defense gotta hold mediocre offenses down too. Can't let a offense like the bills March right down the field on you.
