Classic Okeydoke move. Point to something that isn't there so they can sucker punch you. CRT doesn't exist in classrooms. In OP's article they attribute kids learning that America was built on Stolen land as CRT, when its really just standard deductive reasoning when taught about the migration of Europeans into the Americas. 1980s Teachers alluded to this in American History classes, before CRT was even a thing in law schools. Also Gender Identity isn't even CRT. But, this red herring was used to change laws, like in Florida, where teachers now fear repercussions for teaching about slavery.

When the average Republican voter is asked to explain what CRT is they have no idea what it is. They was just told it's bad and they don't like it. They're a bunch of idiots.

Republicans are running an incredibly transparent propaganda campaign.

It is entirely baseless, but the purpose is to destroy any semblance of cultural competency, any mention of non-White culture, any history unfavorable to white Americans, and to destroy any critical thinking through the education system.

They’ve done the same thing with “woke” which was an AAVE term that whites destroyed and remade into a boogeyman.

They did it before with “political correctness” in the 90s, they attacked “multiculturalism” before that. It’s the same playbook, with a fresh, thin coat of paint on it.

Here’s something else: they’re liars. Republicans are liars.
