Until the last 5 minutes of a game when everyone knew that Rose was going to have the ball in his hands because no one else on the team could create.

That Heat team had defenders that could move. Could have 5 guys focus on Rose and as soon as he gave up the ball, recover easily because Korver couldn't take more than 2 dribbles, Noah wasn't doing shyt, Booz wasn't doing shyt with Bosh, and Deng wasn't a creator.
Ok next year they had Nate and Jimmy was becoming at star. Eventually they would’ve got over the Heat if they stayed healthy and added pieces. They added Kirk Hinrich in 2012 I mean they could’ve ran the East.

Nate wasn't moving the needle and we added him in part because Rose was out. Jimmy averaged only 9ppg the year Rose missed, nobody saw him as an up and coming star at that point and 2012 Kirk was fukking washed.

They finished no 1 in the conference in 2012 they went 50-16 that season. The bulls was right there as contenders coming out of the East. I remember when the Bulls didn’t resign Nate after he went off in the playoffs. They just made bad decisions.

The year after Rose's MVP season the Bulls were still contenders but had the same issue as the previous year, no shot creation outside Derrick. GarPax's solution was to sign old ass Rip Hamilton.

We weren't contenders the year after that when Nate joined. We won 45 games but we weren't expected to do shyt. Nate wasn't the answer.

Rose was such a fun player to watch and one of the best athletes I've ever seen. Is Westbrook the only ultra athletic point guard not to get taken out by injuries?

He’d have just been the ‘00-‘04 Duncan to LeBron’s ‘00-04 Shaq.

I.e. getting smacked in 4 or 5 games every year, outnumbered 2 (or more) stars to 1 History of Trunks Gohan vs the Androids type shyt, until maybe he catches a break in a ‘03 type transition year for Bron’s supporting cast.

Which would’ve been either the flabbier 2014 Heatles, or injury-prone 2015 Cavs. All assuming a healthy Rose wouldn’t get frustrated with the Bulls mgt/demand a trade by then.
This wasn’t gonna happen with Rose. Even in the ECF, yeah they lost in 5, but it’s not like the Heat blew them out every game and looked overwhelming. The Bulls had chances in every one of those games, but late game execution killed them. Then a few years later when Rose was healthy for the playoffs, they lost in 6 to the Cavs, but it took a Bron buzzer beater in game 4, a tight game 5 that was decided by one possession, and Pau Gasol missing most of the series. A more mature Rose who would’ve gotten better would’ve made things a lot more difficult and it wouldn’t have been a cakewalk for Bron.
Drose mvp year the bulls had 4 all stars
Rose
Boozer
Deng
Noah

If they could’ve kept their core stayed healthy and added pieces they could’ve beaten the Heat eventually.
Deng or Noah weren’t All Stars at the time, and Boozer was a 2x All Star two seasons removed from joining Chicago.

Rose would have been right there if not above cats like Steph and Westbrook. Considering he already was better at the time i don't think it's a stretch to believe it would have stayed that way.
