Considering that Drake has done multiple songs with Kendrick...and in none of the cases was the result "OMG KENDRICK JUST MURDERED DRAKE, I NEVER WANT TO HEAR A SONG FROM HIM AGAIN!!!" ...what pray tell, is his response to this supposed to be? If it's all about competition, he's been competing and doing more than holding his own against Kendrick for a while now...the obvious response is to keep doing what you're doing, and next time he or any of the other people get on a song with Kendrick bring the A game because (suppossedly) kendrick is going to be bringing his...Jumping out the window and releasing some awkward ill-advised "response" track like you've been dissed (like the ones we're gonna start getting from the likes of Joey Badass and Fabolous as soon as tonight), is not the right move, and and not even in the spirit of the verse in the first place
It's like people got so gassed over the name dropping, they're not actually processing what Kendrick actually said...the shyt wasn't a "diss" that even requires a response...People are getting more moist and excited over Kendrick TALKING about murdering his competition on songs, than actually doing it

...it's not like he hasn't done song with cats like Drake, ASAP, Krit, etc....he has to live up to that as much or even more than the people he named "have" to respond to it...cause if more collabos like 1Train, Poetic Justice, and fukking Problems come out where rappers other than KDot have the best verse or it's a toss up where nobody seperates themselves, at the end of the day the Control verse just becomes more empty rap boasting

...basically, for this shyt to live up to the overblown hype it's receiving, I don't want to hear shyt else but Renegade level outshining verses from every Kendrick verse on a collabo from now until eternity
