breh this is the second time Duncan's squad has been backdoored swept while having HCA breh. This the second time they been swept, and fourth year losing while having HCA. Spurs have never had a dynasty nor defended their titles successfully.

How many all stars on that 2003 championship team?

Go ahead

I'll wait

:stopitslime: why it gotta be that specific year? lol they had a great team and Duncan was great that year, but lets not front like the Nets were world beaters or a great squad during those trash-ass Eastern conference years breh. Unlike the Spurs, The Lakers swept them bum ass Nets.

Lakers beat trash pacers, sixers, nets for the title

Let's not act like they had legit competition either

lol yea thats true, I will give you that Detroit W because the Lakers weren't fukking with em and Duncan was dominate in that series. shyt if we can play like dat, most of the Lakers & Spurs competition they faced were trash. The best Championship each team won in the decade imo was when the Spurs best that 05 Pistons squad, and the best team the Lakers beat imo was that Celtic's squad in 2010. Cuhz for the most part the Lakers and Spurs disposed of those bum-ass East coast squads that made it those years. But, still I gots Kobe>Duncan all day everyday homie. LWO ride and die and ready to :bustback: at you Duncan & Spur stans. :smugdraper: lol

Kobe Stans, who do you want to win Bron or Duncan?

If Duncan does win the 5th and beats Bron for the 2nd time; He's easily the best player Post Jordan consider the players he'd be above Bron, Kobe, Shaq, KG and Dirk. All those players are top 25 All time.

You could argue he's equal with Jordan pending if they can win this.

Though I think Tim should be put over Kobe already if he wins another title there should be no doubt now that he was the best player of this generation. Not best scorer or most exciting. Just the best basketball player of the last past 15 years. At least until Bron surpasses him anyway.

Duncan will never surpass Kobe, Kobe has owned him too many times in the playoffs. Not to mention, Kobe's been top 5 for the last 15 years, Timmy hasnt . its that simple. Kobe also performed better in the playoffs in general. Kobe put up better numbers as second option than Tim did as a 1st option. Case and point, the 2001 playoffs. Kobe averaged 33, 6, 7 against the Spurs whereas Tim averaged 23 and 12.
