If Eminem Dies, Would He Get "Respect" the same way MJ/Prince Did?

The guy has been trash for over like 12 years. Would he especially now get that respect? I have always said his music will age terribly and it has been shown as the years go by. Only song they will be playing is Stan.

I'm talking about like CNN, MSNBC, NBC,etc. I can't see them stopping to have a DISCUSSION say in the middle of a political debate...like other singing legends about asking the people on the panel "What will you remember best about Slim Shady"?

Eminem is one of the biggest rappers ever though. It probably wouldn't be as groundbreaking as MJ or Prince but it would be big. Even non-rap fans know who Eminem is. Hopefully we won't find out for a long time though
