If Eminem would’ve stopped releasing albums after The Eminem Show, how different would his legacy be?

His legacy would be a lot stronger, there's no doubt about it. Not even a debate. To what extent? I think it's hard to say IMO. But there's no doubt that (more or less) every one of his albums is worse than the previous one after TES in 2002. There are a couple of exceptions to that rule, but it's mostly a downward trajectory.

After TES he was arguably at his cultural peak, and that was arguably his best album.

His legacy would be the same, he was already set in stone once his sophomore dropped. The Em Show solidified it. After that album he was coasting.

I disagree.

Say what you want about the inconsistent quality but this scenario only works if he actually died before that period between TES and Relapse, which he almost did. If it's just him bowing out on top it his sustain would be very limited.

I remember watching a tiktok video of a black kid saying how Not Afraid was the song that introduced him to Hip Hop and how much it meant to him. If he stops after TES his rep would be more pristine with people purists maybe but his name wouldn't ring off like it does, he'd be largely forgotten. His longevity, as in RIGHT NOW as a bridge from artists before him (LL) to current day (JID) is as important to his overall legacy if not more than the run he had at his peak.

His legacy is solidified. I don't really penalize artists 'Too Much' for continuing to release music when they are clearly past their prime. I don't do that with Ice Cube, Redman or Prince. Music is his passion, so he continues to release music, and a lot of people are still interested in hearing it.

Relapse was a pretty great album. i don't know if he had to do the stupid accents, but maybe it went with theme
