I think Boss Up was Bay Area slang initially same with “Pop Yo Colla” and all that other shyt nikkas was doing back in the 2000’s.

The original Boss Up And Get This Money was made by Pontiac nikkas. Blade out it on his Still Spinnin album and then made a Remix for the Stackmaster album. That’s why H Gee (Pontiac nikka) is featured on the song (The guy that sound like Lil Flip on the last verse).
