If Geno Smith doesn't get a chance in New York, I'm done.

Geno wasn't a strong enough prospect to begin with to make these demands that he has to play with the Jets current offense to get a better evaluation of him.

He'll have that opportunity next preseason. His season was lost after he got punched.

I think he is a strong enough prospect. The current Jets' staff might just be retarded, which is sometimes the case with coaching staff. Tannehill, for example, fukking sucks and yet the Dolphins keep trying to build around him.

That's because the Dolphins are stupid. That's good for the Jets.

So Fitzpatrick should play. I'm glad we agree.
No...we agree for different reasons. I agree he should play for reasons of continuity. You believe he's playing because he's proven to be better than Geno when a busted jaw prevented us from knowing if your belief could be proven. That is where your intellectual dishonesty has always resided but is now being cast aside because what I say is true

How was I wrong considering he throws 0.1 less ints per game for his career than Geno whose entire career was throwing to trash?
you still talking about "per game" breh. Really? You don't have to throw useless stats at me. I'm not calling Geno a total bum.

I could see this response making sense if in fact I was one of those posters last year that blamed Geno for losses despite the drops, but i'm not. I can only comment on the games I've watched and that's why I mentioned the Pats in response to YOU bringing up how Fitz has only beaten bad teams. I'm sure all of the Jets losses are not on Geno. Never said they were.

No....my response was accurate because you used Fitz "close play" as some sort of proving ground for why he's better when Geno actually beat the team you brought up. I responded to you.

What? Fitz throws more interceptable passes per attempts than Geno. The stat isn't "useless" because it is a control for receiver quality when it comes to turnovers and Fitz fails worse than Geno. You don't know what you're talking about. @NYC Rebel needs to stop replying to the likes of you.

A bad political point at that. Flacco is not a leader, Wilson is not a leader and Cutler is not leader. Flacco insulted his HOF linebacker; Cutler; own teammates and ex-teammates dislike him (i.e. Bennett and MArshall) and Wilson's teammates also variously dislike him. These guys are all good QBs and better than so-called leaders like Matt Barkley and Tebow. Cam actually is more immature than Geno, with all his dancing and Superman costumes. Inasmuch we are taking about football, and not dumb cac double standard politics about "leadership", Geno is talented QB that has shown an upward trend, unlike Tannehill, Case Keenum and Brandon Weeden, all cacs have played with weapons, failed and yet still keep getting chances.

Cutler isn't a leader I'll agree with you there. As for Flacco and Russell I'd think both of them have shown to be great leaders. Yes, both have made teammates mad or have teammates that might not like them, but it's a 53 man roster. You aren't going to get along with everyone. Both Flacco and Russ are captains of their teams (voted by teammates) and have been for many years.

Tannehill, Keenum, and especially Weeden are average to below average QB's at best. I don't think Geno has been given enough time to show how good he really is. He will get another shot. I just don't think the new regime at the Jets organization see him as the QB of their future. Sometime it takes being traded or cut to make a player change for the better. Geno isn't that mature of a person outside of football. Only time will tell how his career plays out.

Breh you need help or something? A higher percentage of Geno's passes are for INTs. Where are you having trouble with this?
