idiot density is mass + volume so that means that density is nothing but mass, so air has virtually no weight hence why it can hold the de-electrifying particals that block magnetism..

The molecules which air is made up of, such as nitrogen oxygen and c02 are less tightly packed in upper phases of the atmosphere. Thus, the air has less mass per volume... aka less density.
