Canelo don't need a new trainer. His skill set is obviously superb. He just needs a new conditioning coach. Theres no excuse now. It should be done first thing tomorrow morning. He needs to hire the best. All the boxing skill in the world don't mean shyt if you can't stay sharp for a full round.

He needs Ward's camp/conditioning coach.

There wasn't a moment where he made him look foolish. But it seemed that Canelo thought he could make him gas by giving up rounds staying on the ropes. That didn't work. So GGG did make him look foolish in that aspect.

In a fight like this, people see what they want to see unfortunately. My takeaways from the fight

Though I think a draw is appropriate, I can see a case for GGG being declared the victor due to his aggression. I can't for Canelo but whenever he had his wind, he was making it look so easy.
GGG's chin is as good as advertised. Canelo needs to do some fukking cardio. nikka probably needs to drink Gatorade or some shyt after fukking, low gas tank having motherfukker. He is easily more skilled than GGG, do some jump ropes or some shyt Saul. Bryd might want to look over her back for a few months. Card was wack as fukk she submitted. Great fight though.[/QUOTE]

Sad part is in the rematch they will give it to canelo no doubt if it goes 12.

Not necessarily. The judges are like a jury, they can't remain immune to all the publicity. Probably going to hear about it being a robbery for quite a while and although they can be fair in the rematch, may be watching more closely to make sure a 118-110 doesn't happen.

Also, with Canelo's own fans booing him and GGG having fought more Mexican style, Canelo may feel a bit of pressure to stand toe to toe a bit more. I would give that a low percentage of happening, because Canelo is a smart fighter, but it may have made him more game as he clearly was not going to stand and trade with GGG.

i just got in from the theater

GGG - the body work..dude used to be golden with the body work..the jacobs fight..it went down...and the canelo fight it was damn near non existent ..headhunting too damn much..this and the fact he came out too tentative early in the fight cost him a wider decision win and possibly easier win..if there is a rematch he has to hop on him from round 1 and dont let him get too comfortable but GGG is art the absolute tail end of his physical prime..that is for certain for me..chin is godly yes but the wrong kind of an opponent or fight plan is coming..if canelo had no stamina problems, canelo would have boxed his head off because he got off enough..esp in mid ring

Canelo - something ive said over and over and OVER in this section for the regulars....his stamina is trash for not only a young fighter but as a mexican fighter...ever since that fight where he struggled to the point of near gas out to stop Kermit Cintron ive never thought highly of him as a complete fighter..after 50 something fights youd think it would be something to correct..but he has not...his last fight he had a dead man in front of him and he couldnt even force a stoppage on him..it was minimalist boxing on display..now he looked more cut than usual so im thinking ok hes about to do some shyt..and for a while he did.he took advantage of GGG's tentative state..now tjhe arguments was because canelo was chasing the opponent thats why he got tired...he fought on backfoot the majority of the fighter trying to do floyd shyt and he got tired by round 4..possibly the only round i have him clearly winning after that was 12..canelo is not going to survive 160 without taking some more punishment...there are younger prime MW cats that are coming for him
