Is what everyone wants to say about Kobe. If they just moved the ball they'd be better. If they just fed it to Hill they'd be better. if they let Lin run the offense they'd be better. On and on goes the stupidity of people that don't watch the Lakers and yet have all the solutions.
Kobe is chucking. Right? Yes, but because the rest of the Lakers don't do anything. He gets the ball with 5 seconds left and what do you want him to do? What would any player do if they were to be put in that situation over and over and over again because their system sucks and they don't actually do anything to get players open.
We were down to the Griz by 8 and Kobe went off. We got 2 points with him off and their lead grew to 17. Why? Because no on this team can do shyt with the ball in their hands or do anything off ball. Lin came down the court and would chuck or just turn it over. Wesley Johnson would just chuck as soon as he touched it as I guess he wanted to be more aggressive this game. No one attacked in the paint and just forced jumpers over and over. We passed more though! We passed and passed and it got nowhere because passing the ball around doesn't lead to anything unless you're driving in to collapse the defense, swinging the ball to the open guy in the corner, etc etc. You need to do stuff OFF THE BALL in order for an offense to be effective, no one on the Lakers does this and just stand and watch whenever they don't have the ball. That's on the coach and Scott really does suck without Kidd leading him to the finals.
Kobe finished 10/25 for 28 points. "that's awful and not efficient, if only he was more like lebron blah blah blah" if he was more like Lebron we'd be getting blown out by 30 every game as no one would be trying to score. This shyt isn't on Kobe, this is on the fact we're paying Hill/Lin 15 million of cap space, have Wesley Johnson as our SF, and BOOZER as our PF. That's pathetic. This shyt is on the front office for striking out with stars over and over instead of going for guys like Lance, Isaiah, Frye, etc. Guys that could actually help us out NOW and actually make us competitive so we can be appealing to fukking superstars rather than getting turned down by everyone because we have nothing going for us.
