I don't want this to turn into a theological debate on whether or not god exists, so for the sake of this discussion let's just assume heaven & hell are real.

if you were to die today which one do you think you'd be headed to?

hell for me... :wow:

What kind of hell are we talking about here though? The Judeo-Christian one where something as simple as not believing in a certain thing sends you there? Or are we speaking about the Eastern kind? The one based on your actions and deeds in this life.

Ok, we don't want theology, but I have to straighten something out about the Christian faith. The Bible says (paraphrasing as best as I can) "what is faith, without works" and your "faith being dead" if the work you do doesn't show that you are a believer. So essentially you have to have faith, but your faith should lead you to do the work which is needed to be done like feed the hungry, and tend to the sick, helping your fellow man, etc.......

You don't want my theology but yet you're here giving me your theology? :heh:

My statement wasn't directed solely at Christianity though, it was all inclusive of the Abrahamic religions. In those religions, particularly Islam and Christianity, if you don't believe in a certain thing........you'll go to hell....point blank period. You can have the works but if you don't first believe it's not going to matter........that was my point.

I was talking about this thread not becoming a theological discussion, but I'll just leave it alone to keep the thread on topic.
