First '08, now this...the race has no business being this close.

She ran a shytty champaign in '08 and I see she hasn't learned from her mistakes at all.

I need Bloomberg to enter the race so that I root for someone in this election. :sadcam:

You would rather support Bloomberg (similar to Hillary anyway) than Sanders?

Sanders doesn't appear to know how the presidency works. He's making all these promises that don't have a chance in hell of going through Congress. I fell for that hope and change shyt in '08, I'd be an idiot to fall for the same okie doke in 2016.

What's your alternative?

and Obama was a corporatist all along anyway, but I digress.

Obama got through most of what he said he would. He had the words of Sanders, but his policies were always more center-left. Sanders perfectly understand how being the President works. He is saying that we need to get the money out of politics before we can get anything done. Clinton is not advocating for that at all. She would keep the status quo. Let me ask you this, if Hillary really is a progressive and Republicans do not want to work with progressives, why would they work with her and not Sanders? You're tacitly admitting that she's going to be the type of centrist that has failed the poor and the young. The entire world is shifting left, why are progressives so afraid of fighting for what they believe in?

What's your point about Obama? :stopitslime: He turned out to be a pragmatic and I have nothing but respect for that.

Bernie Sanders would be an absolute flop as a president. Jimmy Carter 2.0. He's incredibly naive for a man his age. The country is bigger and more complicated than little Vermont.

And how exactly is he going to do all that when the people that have to power to enact these changes are all influenced by lobbyists in some capacity? See, what I'm saying? He's not being realistic.

The world isn't black and white.

Never even thought about it from that perspective. Always fought that point by pointing out how hated she's been since 93. Thank you for the additional talking point.

Um...by getting people to go out and vote for people who support doing that? Also, by appointing people to his cabinet with no ties to Wall Street that will be hard on enforcement. Appointments are also policy.
