Um...by getting people to go out and vote for people who support doing that? Also, by appointing people to his cabinet with no ties to Wall Street that will be hard on enforcement. Appointments are also policy.

Yup. THat and the power of veto. At a bare minimum the establishment that has been polarized would then need to communicate and cooperate to push its agenda.Um...by getting people to go out and vote for people who support doing that? Nearly everything Sanders supports has support by 70% or more of Americans. It is a matter of mobilizing people, and people vote straight ticket. I actually voted for Hillary to win this caucus in Iowa if you look at the votes so I'm no blind optimist. But Sander's run is important. It lets the Democratic Party know that the young people in their party, the future of their party, are considerably more to the left than their predecessors and that shows no sign of changing. The idea of people getting more conservative as they get older is pretty much dead. All the studies have contradicted it. If someone like Sanders does not win now, he will within the next 20 years.
i'll ask again, since you neatly dodged the questionWhat's your point about Obama?He turned out to be a pragmatic and I have nothing but respect for that.
Bernie Sanders would be an absolute flop as a president. Jimmy Carter 2.0. He's incredibly naive for a man his age. The country is bigger and more complicated than little Vermont.
;i dont think hes gonna get what he wants, i just think hes gonna push it in the right direction. and his direction is >>>>> the rest of these clowns and crooks we have to choose from. hillary clinton was bought and paid for so fukkin long ago that its not even funnySanders' is an impotent ideologue, which I am perfectly fine with. He has sparked some dialogue, and if he wins he will be vehemently obstructed by Congress which would minimize the damage the Federal govt would do over his term. That is OK with me. There is zero leadership up for grabs in this election.... all I am hopeful for is that whoever gets elected will do the least damage.

i'll ask again, since you neatly dodged the question;
who would you prefer wins?

at anyone thinking about voting for a 75 yr old man. Ya'll acting like he's going to survive 8 years in office.
Now that widespread poverty is a white issue GOP is under the gun.... the timing is pretty serendipitousi dont think hes gonna get what he wants, i just think hes gonna push it in the right direction. and his direction is >>>>> the rest of these clowns and crooks we have to choose from. hillary clinton was bought and paid for so fukkin long ago that its not even funny
and to a degree, these republicans will have to answer why they oppose his ideas![]()
But there are enough people angry at the rich for that to possibly carry him over the thresholdHe just needs 4. Aint dikk Cheney like 100Michael Bloomberg. But if he's not an option, HRC....only because all the alternatives are.

I always took Bernie to be a one issue candidate that would make enough noise to hurt Hillary a bit and make her move toward his views on his issues, like Hillary did to Obama on healthcare.
Ultimately, Bernie doesn't have that long time support from Democratic voters. Hillary has much more support among everyone over 30, minorities, and women. That'll mean a lot in every other state. Bernie will probably win NH but that's it.
I hate what the Republican party has become. This is very harmful to this country's well-being and democracy. No party has a monopoly on good ideas.Michael Bloomberg. But if he's not an option, HRC....only because all the alternatives are.

Hilary isn't too far behind him in age and this point makes no sense anyways. Its a bigger cop out than "he wont get anything passed."

Pictures do not lie. All our recent presidents have been fukked up after just a few years in office. (Clinton, Obama, Bush...)
