And how exactly is he going to do all that when the people that have to power to enact these changes are all influenced by lobbyists in some capacity? See, what I'm saying? He's not being realistic.

The world isn't black and white.
So how do you expect any REAL change to occur if every president and congressman(woman) is tied to a lot of BIG money? HOW? It will never happen.

But if you have a president that has no ties to that kind of $$$ from any one company. Then you have a president that only owes it to the people. yall need to learn how the game is played.

that means he has to go down swinging for the people since the PEOPLE paid for his campaign(which is whats currently happening). politics is simple. whoever pays for your campaign wins you as their politician and things on your list goes on his/hers to do list. its really that simple.

every now and then they will do whats right for the people. but for the most part its whoever you owe, is who you will hook up.

Now how do you change congress? Well we vote for those people. if a president that has ZERO big bank ties, zero big corp ties. is telling you these politicians(Dems/and Repubs) are holding up what you need/want to thrive due to their ties to these big money groups. YOU the people can vote someone else in, that isnt tied to the money. you know how? THe same way you would've raised money for Bernie you could do it for a congress person.

It needs to be SEEN first. For THE PEOPLE to believe they actually matter. Look when THE PEOPLE pool their money we become a large super PAC. its really that simple. Call it WE THE PEOPLE or some nonsense like that. WE can do it again for other reps. yes we always could. but we dont believe we have that kind of power, we dont believe everyone would join in. unitl it happens. and no better time than the present then for a dude like bernie to win purely off of The people's money.

It sets a tone that can stretch across party lines and go deep into the congress.

I always took Bernie to be a one issue candidate that would make enough noise to hurt Hillary a bit and make her move toward his views on his issues, like Hillary did to Obama on healthcare.

Ultimately, Bernie doesn't have that long time support from Democratic voters. Hillary has much more support among everyone over 30, minorities, and women. That'll mean a lot in every other state. Bernie will probably win NH but that's it.
Bernie is way ahead with younger women

Fam, did you just try to include 25 to 65 as one age bracket? fukk politics, tell me that did not just happen :deadrose:
No. It was 25-Death and I just lumped 3 age groups into one because she had 53% of 25-44 and 63% of both 45-64 & 65+ In the latest national poll I saw at that time.

It was to illustrate the point that Bernie only has more support from women under 25. It's a large divide and women registered as Democrats overwhelmingly support Hillary.

The person who can keep the American public most apathetic and docile will win, bottom line.

Since Hillary has began her quest for the White House she's really never been the favorite of the masses, the media just force feeds that shyt to us but she hasn't connected with the American public like that in well over a decade. When she was extremely popular the American public wasn't ready to accept a woman as president, and now her whole appeal is based around being the first woman president.

As for 08 Obama ran the best campaign hands down, the fact that he's black and went on to become the first black president was secondary to the fact that he was the best candidate and came off as the most trustworthy.

What's your point about Obama? :stopitslime: He turned out to be a pragmatic and I have nothing but respect for that.

Bernie Sanders would be an absolute flop as a president. Jimmy Carter 2.0. He's incredibly naive for a man his age. The country is bigger and more complicated than little Vermont.
And Lincoln was a hill Billy from the sticks not a Philadelphia lawyer

I'm unable to participate in a cogent discussion on politics. I'll just say that Hilary is the damn devil. And something about the three strikes law from Bill...
