This is the guy who canceled his interview with a decent Giants squad to take the Browns job as soon as it was offered to him
Keep collecting those paychecks though :yeshrug:

You gotta ask?

His team is fukking TRASH, they're playing a weak rookie QB, and have very little talent around him to speak of. But he's a black coach, and on a team who has never hesitated to fire a coach.

Granted, they do have a new front office so that gives me a glimmer of hope that they'd give him a chance to coach a team with actual talent.

I think Hue gets a pass. He's a well liked coach in the league and we all knew he inherited a pretty bad team. Idk how anyone could expect a quick turnaround considering how bad the Browns have been over the years. Plus not having a QB that can actually finish a game doesn't help

As a Lions fan, I'd generally agree that you've got to cut the coach loose if you go 0-16, but Hue got a TOUGH break. :ld:

He expected to have RGIII at QB throwing to Josh Gordon after week 4. Only got 1 game before RGIII went down and Gordon never hit the field.

Now he's on his sixth QB. :wow:
Came to basically say this. He CANNOT get off to a slow start next year though.

I think Hue's a good coach. He did a solid job with the Raiders.

Does he deserve it, no. Will he, most likely.

Coaches usually get blamed for these situations anyways, and it's not like the new coach could do any worse...so

A Buckeye State Of Mind
They need O-Line help more than anything. Why draft a QB if defenses will demolish him and stifle his progress?
You never know when your gonna get an opportunity to draft this high again. If someone is worthy you draft him and stash him away for a year. Let a vet qb get beat up until you sign or draft an oline:manny:
