Only if you're cool working short term contract gigs with no benefits. Everything is going overseas even mission critical systems. A new trade deal with India could wipe out another 20 or 30% of tech jobs.
Yeah basically you need to be in a role that isn’t India-friendly, like presales for example.
Otherwise good luck holding back Ashwin who is willing to do the exact same job as you for 40% less and won’t ever ask for a raise

Only if you build an app for like the Federal Government. Way too many monopolies in the private sector for new entrants to make much headway.
This one dude was making 6 figures off some app he developed for the Federal Government until DOGE screwed him. When I worked for the Feds they use software all the time from startups and small businesses. All this CAC had to do is register as a minority business due to his wife being Indian.
