The Truth
I heard if you go to school first then try it's easier.
Possibly.

But I think because of what they do they don't really have time or patience for fukkery. Like I said, I was at a joint base and there was coast guard around as well. You never hear nothing about them nikkas...

No dui's, no fights, no motorcycle accidents, no drug shyt, no one going crazy in the barracks or getting killed, rapes, suicides, etc.

They're like a ghost branch or some shyt

@JordanwiththeWiz yo my man, what's the name of the map reading book you used?

It was cheaper on post where I brought all them books and a compass I think it was like 6 or 5 bucks per book except of course the selection book was more expensive

You know how some PXs got the uniform stores where you get dress blues, ribbons, canteens, boots. Basically like all the army stuff that you might missing they sell them there.

My niigga, you making this sound like summer camp...part of me wants to sign up for this shiit now...:pachaha:

Naw breh it was literally just a small group of cool brothas trying to make the best of a fukked up situation. Trust me that shyt ain't for everybody. Waking up at 3am having to run for your LIFE to bunkers ain't no summer camp shyt.

Me, Castro, Calhoun, and Moody we all looked out for each other, that's the only thing that made the fukkery worthwhile .

so did you join?

no :whoa:
first, i'm old..
second, i'm not really a disciplined person to go through anything like that

I Wonder if they recruit at those crossfit games also lol,

they recruit at full/140.6 triathlon events
i mean where will thy find people spending their own money and all vacation from work to do time-consuming fitness challenges just for fun?? :mjlol:

No bullshyt: my uncle was a marathon runner in the 80s. He was really, really fukking good. After a race these two dudes came up to him and asked him if he had ever heard of the CIA. Long story short: they wanted to see if he was down to run a transmitter/electronic components from point A to point B. It would've been in Central/South America.

He thinks they may have been drug dealers/cartel guys in retrospect. No way would the CIA be that upfront with a civilian.

a successful austrian marathon runner named johan kastenberger led a double life as a bank robber
they dramatized his life in a movie called "the robber"

tell me more about this. How do they weed people out? Do you have to know someone?

never been myself, but 2 people in my company recently returned from selection(neither were selected and both made it through to the last day). they didn't get selected because they were both of them were e-4s and neither of them had any schools(ranger, pathfinder, airborne, air assault). both were in top shape, just had nothing to really offer.

Depends what his job is. Korea is basically where you sit around doing guard duty and staying drunk after hours from what I heard from people that went there. The Phillipines still has issues from that typhoon I believe so there could be relief operations going on. They do train their security forces and assist with counter terrorism there as well. They still have some terrorist groups in the Phillipines that aren't as powerful as they used to be but still nothing to play around with since they're all deep in the jungles.

I was in Korea for a year. It was my first duty station after AIT. That's a WHOLE NOTHER tale of fukkery lol

Me in Korea
