We went to Ivies and grew up in the city. We know regular wp and siditty ones, it's all the same. My lil middle class Jewish friend from 7th grade used to make... implications. Years ago, I was in flight school surrounded by white boys who did nothing but cheat on their tests. It took me a minute to realize this was the way most of our older white instructors had likely passed some phases of flight training when they were students too.

Whenever I saw a black instructor, I was a 100% confident he knew what he was doing on the plane because they actually likely earned whatever grades they got and probably had to go through a lot of fukkery to do so.

Anytime I see a Black person in a high-ranking position in any profession I know for a fact they had to go through hell and back to get there...going through many obstacles and being forced to go the extra mile or two (maybe even more) just to prove themselves to others that they belong.

White people should be the last ones talking about qualifications and who is or isn't deserving of something because, for much of this country's existence, they've been getting over on everybody and coasting through life just by being White.

It doesn't mention any difference in standards only outreach, mentoring, and (I assume financial) support of those minority groups.
