He's a perfectionist and if you'e his WR, he will chew you out for running the wrong route. He doesn't cover up the mistakes of his teammates much. Rodgers has ALWAYS been cocky from the day he stepped in as a rookie in 2005. He got madly humbled by being a horrible QB in 2005 and 2006. People forget how bad this guy was in pre-season games and in relief of Favre during that time. He SUCKED. It got to a point many people didn't even believe he was the right guy to be the successor. I had my doubts which were eased with that Dallas game in 2007. The success of the last 3 seasons of winning the SB and having great regular season win totals may be getting to his ego again, but who knows.
But to his credit, when he messes up, he acknowledges it. Last year and in 2009 when he took a lot of sacks, he started to put it on himself to make quicker reads or throw the ball away... he still has the tendency to hold the ball way too long and that's his greatest weakness IMO. The good thing is, Rodgers rarely throws INTs or makes boneheaded decisions. Sometimes it seems he is too good because of the limited mistakes he makes.
That'd be one of the reasons he could be difficult to play with. The bar may set too high for some.
