im not going to speculate on the person recording because a lot of things could be driving them to record, but having a reaction in full is prob what they were seeking. If she grabbed the baby or was going to hit/harm it, I would definitely expect the intervention you’re speaking of.

You don’t know who this person is and what they may have said before starting to record. You are judging the person holding the camera and trying to hold them accountable for not stopping this woman from harming her child.

But I don’t see you saying anything about the actual person who is so unhinged she attacks her own child for crying.

Perhaps the person holding the camera was arguing with the woman. If they/them approaches the crib what would this woman do? Based on her actions toward HER OWN CHILD she is likely to turn violent. Now we have two adults scuffling and an infant being pushed around a crib maybe even thrown across the room as things escalated.
