If I was Melo, I would ask to be traded.

It's almost unfair that he has to spend the prime of his career on this team, which doesn't find the right complimentary pieces around him to let him excel.

Every basket just about is a struggle iso play. A team is supposed to make it easy as possible for a basket by running plays, setting screens etc.

Realistically, what team can trade for him, that'll be a great fit?
Hawks? Golden State?

:comeon:

team got some decent 3pt shooters, good shot blocker. but all that dont mean shyt if you dont move the ball.

And who's going to get Melo off the knicks' hands with that contract :heh: especially when you already know he aint a franchise player. (see. :rudy:)

Half court oriented team

Now why would a half court oriented team want him? Dude, you just watched what happened to y'all. That iso shyt DOES NOT WORK in the playoffs. A good half court playoff team needs...

a) bigs that can do work down low (Spurs, Grizz, Pacers)
b) great ball movement (Heat)

...anything else just looks pretty during the regular season.

Isn't that exactly how he ended up in the position though? And as others have said what team can/will trade for him and still have enough pieces left to compete. Might as well wait it out until Amare's deal comes off the books and hope that they can lure the right guy. He's not gonna go anywhere and instantly turn them into a contender, especially when they would have to gut their roster to get him (like the Knicks did).

He bytched his way out of Denver why not keep trying different teams till he wins something:pachaha:

He needs to learn like Bosh did that he cant be the best player on a title team but his ego would never allow him to be a 2nd or 3rd option
