Was just thinking about this yesterday, go in at 18 get out at 28 (even though I'm 26) get a guaranted 2,500 to 3,000 pension for just 10 years of work. Come out have them pay for your schooling, get goat level health insurance, if you weren't a retard should have atleast 100k in savings (realistically more due to gains in the market), they help you get a first house and it's easier to get certain jobs.

I was gonna go in the navy right before 9/11...slot of my people was going in and we was all trying to get right as young men.
After 9/11 I changed my mind,but alot of them still went in.
Most came out after 1 or 2 tours and was getting the exact same jobs as me or worse.
Now I work a job where a good amount are ex military and I say to myself,wtf was the point?
