The Netflix universe is significantly less important than it was when it started. Only a matter of time before it spreads to movies.

The Netflix shows just are getting worse quality wise is the problem. Daredevil set it off lovely but I think the budgets for these shows is decreasing not increasing so the action is getting worse not better.
The spectacle necessary for a quality super hero property can't be done on a TV budget.
Really the MCU is peaking right now due to BP and IW and its sequel next year. They will be the highest grossing comic book movies ever. The best days are ahead not behind.

Western Movies were the most popular genre of film for almost 30 years. Supermovies are even more popular and have broader range of audiences. Black folks weren't checking for John Wayne but T'challa? Woman weren't all that interested gun fights, but Wonder Woman? I'd say based on that this genre which has been on top since around 2000 now, has about 15 more years before it starts to fall off. So come back with this in 2033.

people been saying this since the first spiderman reboot, and superhero movies box office returns continue to set records and bring in new audiences. Hence the reason you had to imediately say BP aside. nikka why? BP counts just as much as every superhero movie. Fatigue isn't setting, interest is at an all time high a still growing.

yeah if anything's gonna cause fatigue, it's all these wack ass superhero TV shows

superhero spectacle belongs on the big screen. if you ain't got the $$$ to do movie-quality special fx we've come to expect from the genre then don't do it. besides maybe punisher, the netflix shows are type wack too

Different writer, director, cinematographer....damn near everyone involved with it (outside of the actors, obviously) wasn't on the last Avengers movie.

Not sure what "Age Of Ultron" being subpar has to do with this movie.

Of course it's not impossible for it to be bad but outside of "well, it could be bad" as a devil's advocate talking point there ain't much to support that line of thinking. Given that the last two Russo movies were critical and commercial successes there's far more reasons to assume it'll be good than bad.
