You don’t know what will be invented in the future though. I am almost sure that all the top scientists in 1400s couldn’t foresee any other type of travelling beside by land or sea. Certain theories take time before finding usage in real world application. It took 300 years for Newton object acceleration using a large body gravity to send probes. Quoting Arthur C. Clarke: sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.Only thing it would change my view on is the feasibility of interstellar travel.
I think humanity is very unlikely to ever meet aliens. Not because they don't exist, but because they're too far away and the speed of light is too slow. Space travel just seems too difficult and unsafe to be practical. The distances involved are just too far for organic lifeforms to make the trip.
Obviously if aliens show up it means they found some way around that.![]()
Why be surprised when they been hinting this and ”aliens” are in the Bible? Those “aliens” are fallen beings, which is why they spent billions with the fake Atheist narrative. Now they will flip it and say the Aliens are the Gods which is false. Will you be shocked? Scared? Will it affirm your current beliefs?
But to the question, it wouldn't impact me outside of hoping the conditions (political, social, etc ) of our planet aren't replicated on their home planet.
What's the name of the book?I'll keep on moving forward
interestingly enough I just started reading a novel based on that premise right now. The scientific community is observing an asteroid orbiting around earth and slowly realizes it has no choice to admit that it's a spaceship. Hope it'll be good
