If Jay-Z was a young nikka in this era would he get caught up?

I personally think if u put social media back in the 90s majority of them rappers would be caught up like nikkas today

nikkas love being seen as center of attention

From Death Row , Pac, Suge,to especially Puffy and Bad Boy, Jay especially with Dame ass being around and a lot others asses all would been exposed

nikkas are influenced by what’s going on in that time

Once jay took rap serious. He wasn’t doing anything illegal. These new dudes get more into the streets after they get money. That’s the difference.
You must mean when he became a mainstream player. Because I'm sure he was taking rap seriously since about 1990 breh definitely by 94 ( his line about Illmatic and ready to due is evidence, plus he was shopping for deals around that time) and he was still doing illegal shyt. So you gotta be talking about him taking his career serious Blueprint.

That’s the point once he started looking for a deal he didn’t go back. He didn’t take his reasonable doubt money and buy glocks for the hood and bought 92 more bricks.

Breh he was looking for a deal since about 90. He was definitely still hustling from then up until probably Vol. 1. He always bragged about having money before rap and not really even needing the rap money. He already had jewelry and cars and was paying for videos himself. Cam even said Jay and Dame payed to open up for Meth Where do you think that money came from???? Go fund me wasn't around then breh. Dude didn't stop hustling until he had real money coming in from the industry.

In 1990 lol

Jay was turned off being a rapper because how Jaz was treated. He didn’t try to get signed until he Hooked up with Dame

Of course not. Jay-Z does not prescribe to the Thug street low IQ culture

He grew up in the center of it all, in Brooklyn during the 80s crack era, and still chose to more interested in Stocks, Bonds, Real Estate, Accounting, Starting/Running a legal business, and Venture Capital, etc and specifically seeking out people who dominated this market

Majority of these rappers aren't like Young Thug. They are intellects that see the world differently and only put up a front to sell records
