KD's team made it to the conference finals and will lose to the team with the best record in the league, largely in part because their third option is down. Why the fukk do y'all want KD to get shytted on so bad :wtf: He did what he was supposed to do.

Yea like I said he's not gonna get the type of criticism people seem to think. We joke about it, but Russ & Brooks will get the criticism first. shyt Chuck was calling Russ out last night for being more of a traditional PG, but if Russ played like a traditional PG they probably don't make it outta the first round vs. Memphis

They have pretty much already turned...they are just waiting for them to be eliminated to fully unload on him. How you gonna assert he doesn't catch heat and leave the most prominent national outlet out of the equation? :what:

Please don't ever compare another player, especially Melo of all people to what Bron got. Beyond that when has Melo gotten crucified? He's started to catch heat in recent years but certainly not to any extreme. His team missed the playoffs in a :scusthov: conference and the only conversation about him is what team he's gonna play for next year.

Dog, have you been under a rock. Melos entire career he has been killed in the media (especially in NY)

He's been called a volume shooter, a ball stopper, a coach killer, unable to ever win a chip. He's been killed about his defense, not being in shape. His low assist numbers and his early round playoff exits.

Now tell me I'm incorrect about any of those criticisms :stopitslime:

Breh I didn't leave ESPN out of anything, I just told you I DONT listen to ESPN like that outside of live games & Colin Cowherd. You may know more than I do about them and what they're saying , that's why I listed who I listen to/read and the criticism has NOT been there. He'll get a pity column written on him not making it past SA, but realistically what do you expect them to criticize him on? SA is better than OKC breh, he's gettin a pass

But why SHOULD people criticsize him is what I'm asking. Bron deserved all the criticsm. Dude straight quit in Boston series and lost in the second round as the MVP. The next year he went GHOST in the finals. He deserved all of it.

There isn't one point in KD's playoff career where you can say his team underachieved when fully healthy.

I don't see it breh. We been saying the same thing for CP3 for years and his lack of postseason success is only discussed on here. KD is immune from criticism b/c he us a good guy and is non threatening. The only question of significance for KD this offseason is if he resigns with Nike or not

BTW, I think Brooks is safe for 1 more yr

The Ibaka injury guaranteed that Brooks is safe. They beat the Spurs 4-0 in the regular season with him. Granted it's the regular season, but Ibaka makes a difference

:rudy: Melo didnt' catch the slightest bit of heat until he came to NY. Lebron caught all the arrows before they could get to him. Once Bron got his chip Melo caught a little bit not to any extreme. You hear way more about "what team is he gonna go to" than you do any of that shyt you mentioned and once again his team missed the fukking playoffs in a conference where < 40 wins could get you in. Stop it.

Breh I didn't leave ESPN out of anything, I just told you I DONT listen to ESPN like that outside of live games & Colin Cowherd. They have already laid out what they are gonna criticize him on..."Can he get over the hump?". The same shyt Bron and others before him caught until they won.

You did leave ESPN out. He's catching heat there. So to assert that he isn't catching heat is to leave ESPN out. We aren't talking about some random blog, we are talking about the biggest network in sports.

why do people say this?

struggling against an elite defensive team while none of your role players step up is quitting?

averaging 27/9/7 with 2.2 steals and 1.3 blocks while your number 2 option averages 13 points shooting .409% is "quitting"?

Lebron did not average that against Boston. I should say the last 3 games it was obvious he stopped playing

Even if they lose....he still has to play much better imo. He cant be getting blown out and scoring 15 points. He's gotta win a game or two....or he'll be destroyed by the media.

This series is rough on him so far

He would be good....His Mom is the real MVP....:shaq:

My mistake breh but if you look at LeBron the last 3 games of that series he was uninterested and playing nowhere near the effort he did before. His numbers the last 3 games were horrible

i saw the games.

looked to me like the celtics were trapping every time lebron had the ball and shut down the paint with triple teams if he tried to drive. basically tried to force everyone else to beat them but lebron :manny:

kd only had 15 points last night. i would't say he quit, just got shut down by a good defensive team :manny:

That same celtics team suffered their worst home playoff loss in history in game 3 at the hands of the Cavs. Something happened after game 3 and LeBron never played with the same intensity or urgency.

Game 5 was brutal, they pretty much trapped him as soon as he crossed half court, but the game 6 "quit" everybody refers to is laughable.

27/19/10 with 3 steals. The problem was the 9 turnovers from that defense. No way in hell did he quit on the team in game 6 though
