If Kyrie Irving never plays another game, is he a Hall of Famer?

Is Kyrie a HOFer if he retires now?

They don't want to actually discuss the career as a whole. They want to discuss the Cavs title w/ LeBron and forget the rest..
Even without the ring, 7x All-Star games, a gold medal and 23 PPG is likely enough.
Dudes doing a lot of deflecting in here… When you really look at his career and put it up against those I mentioned in his PG class nikkas get quiet
Kyrie is above them

Are you dumb? i said let's discuss his years as "The Guy" on a team and here you are still discussing the ring with LeBron. What part of my post didn't you understand?

Because without Lebron thats what he did which is comparable to a bunch of other borderline HOF's, then you factor in the "Lebron years" and his resume becomes that much more impressive. This conversation is silly, voters aren't omitting years for an arguments sake

This is the basketball hall of fame, lack of postseason success has never stopped anyone from getting through those doors, word to T-Mac, Bernard King, Grant Hill, Dave Thompson, etc etc

Breh... i already said he's borderline or probably a HOF player. i'm here to discuss the hyperbole of the 1st few posts of the thread. The fact is without the LeBron run.. him as the guy resulted in empty stats and zero playoff success. Do you disagree?

Ray’s shot is bigger imo it wasn’t in a tied game with 50 seconds left

People act like Kyrie shot was a buzzer beater it wasn’t
Doesn't matter
:usure: I don't like Kyrie like that but the Spurs weren't 73-9 and the Heat weren't coming back from 3-1 to end a 52-year title drought across sports for a city.
On top of being Game 7 vs Game 6

If Ray didn’t hit that shot the Heat lose the championship

Kyrie could have missed and there’s still 2-3 possessions left in a tied game maybe even more
And that's fine. But those other factors are still at play and Kyrie hit the shot. The title won means more on a historic level.

Check the 16th post on the first page…

Billups/Hardaway/Robertson all lead their teams as the #1 to the playoffs and Billups to the finals winning a chip..

Billups wasn’t the sole #1. It really was a whole team contribution. Rasheed and Ben(the defensively) was just as important and vital as Billups. Billups hit the big shot but Sheed, Hamilton, and Billups all shared the load equally on offense.

and Shaq was 1a in Orlando. He’s the one that recruited Penny to Orlando

If you're in agreement then I'm not even sure why you quoted me in the first place. I jumped in here because I see people saying stupid shyt like Alvin Robertson having a "far better" resume than Kyrie Irving

I think his durability is a bigger reason for lack of postseason success after Bron than "empty stats".
