Why don't we ask guys like Steve Nash, CP3, John randle, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Don Mattingly, or Felix Hernandez if they feel better about how even though they never won it all, at least they never lost the last round/game of the season. You think any of the players who lost in the finals would actually say they'd rather have lost in the earlier rounds so that it didn't hurt their winning percentage in the finals? What did the Heat have besides those three again? A 6'8 forward with a ripped up foot, a guard with two broken thumbs, and Mario Chalmers. Bosh was never at any point in his career a top five player at his position either. Dirk, Duncan, Garnett, Gasol, Blake, Stoudemire, all were better power forwards than bosh just in 2010-11 alone. He didn't have to build a superstar team. The front office simply made one through drafts, trades, and signings. Cleveland could never get him a Pippen in 8 years which is why he left in order to combat the Celtics.
