I Gotcha, Superstar & Paris, Tokyo are my favorite singles. They just fit the Lu mold, they sound different than the norm & are great tracks

Greatest song in hip hop history :comeon:

Spoken by a true Tupac stan :obama:

Tupac and Nas were stans of each other, I don't see how Nas paying tribute and keeping his memory alive is at all "desecrating" a song.
That shyt was dope to me :manny: thanks breh I don't remember seeing that

Yes, the GOAT song. If it wasnt then why would I say it was?

Nasir sounded so out of place...

And they give Lu grief for not knowin some obscure ATCQ song when he aint even come up on them... this dude naS aint know the words to the GOAT song

Yuck.....It doesn't sound right, damn pac was all empathy and emotion.
naS dont care about the hood, thats why it sounded lackluster... you can tell when a nikka aint genuine.

I guess you forgot who dropped the greatest rap album of all time ? Here's a hint. It has one guest feature and 10 tracks

Lyrics are selling again. Its 2013, not 2007. Club records are oversaturated at this point and people are more focused on making better music and better rhymes.
That's overstated. All these "lyrics" new rappers are also putting up club sounding records or records for women as their singles and lead tracks. The people who are selling are the ones the fans buy into.

Sometimes I feel that those club tracks wasn't really what he was trying to do. More like forced label obligations.

The real Lupe is the man that makes thought provoking tracks and introduces new concepts to the game. As much as I liked his club tracks, I think he's just trying to define his success based on his artistic principles and not commercial acclaim.

Making QUALITY commercial tracks is in Lupes best interest. As a fan I like his commercial singles outside of a few records. But yea Lu should have a least one for every album to garner more interest in his projects.
