If Mayweather fought the same fight Canelo did vs GGG, he'd win a unanimous decision

Not even close. Mayweather can go to the ropes and still control the action. Canelo rolled and dodged punches well, but not Mayweather well, and he didn't counter as well. Mayweather also never fatigues, Canelo had major lulls due to fatigue.

The difference is Mayweather can fight in the middle of the ring and against the ropes and control the fight even if he isn't the aggressor. Most people felt Canelo constantly visually looked like he was losing the fight, regardless of how you judged the action or punches. Mayweather never looked like he was losing.

Canelo is the student who learned a lot...Mayweather is the master.

GGG might be too big for Floyd but... if they would be the same size or a little closer in style then it's not debatable imo...
Floyd is just a higher level boxer than GGG a pressure fighter which is not to say GGG is any bad but Mayweather is a legit top 20-30 fighter of all time

Man, fukk Floyd. What Im saying is Canelo won the fight imo. Im saying if Floyd fought the same fight Canelo fought, he would have been awarded the decision and nobody would argue.

You're doing too much analysis here breh lol.

I'm pretty sure OP is just saying if that was Mayweather in the ring doing exactly what Canelo did, everyone would have it as a unanimous decision.

7-5 for Canelo on every watch. But Canelo has this shyt in him where even in rounds he def wins he'll win like 60-70% of the round so arguments can be made in damn near all of his top fights(due to his stamina) and him not jabbing during "empty" parts of the round.
He was pretty fukkin active in rnd 12 for someone that gassed. I was more impressed with Canelo than I was GGG. If that Byrd bish had it within 2points for Canelo, I think people would have accepted the decision.
