My only issue with Meek is that he started the beef and didn't immediately have a record ready just in case Drake popped off.

Because the reason the nikka releases two diss tracks is because you started the beef. Again, it ain't like Drake randomly started beefing with Meek. He came at him and seemingly didn't realize that he was gonna have to have bars ready.
The more likely scenario is this nikka decided to talk reckless on Twitter, didn't plan for the backlash, and now the shyt blew up so fast he's scrambling.
He's taking a massive L because this shyt really was a layup for him.
The stars were actually aligned for him. He got a hot album out, he on tour, the reference track dropped which was a big blow, and he was performing live in Toronto. All he had to was drop a quick 16/ and he would have had the upper hand.
