The amount of ammunition Meek had couldn't release a memorable diss track is amazing now that I think about it.

The piss shyt, he didn't even refer to it in rap. Like a funny line out of that would have been EASY work. I can think of a couple off my head. Meek let y'all down man

typical 8-mill shyt

Drake credibility as a lame person already been on front street; nothing special. We knew that in 09 when he slipped on stage. What it took was clever bars to bring Drake down. Thats what Drake had for Meek in Back 2 Back. Meek never really been a clever artist. His style is aggression and truth.

and what's your proof? Other than some guy who's best interest is to lie.

So I take it you believed QM when he released that letter too huh?

you cant believe anyone who is loyal to a camp about the truth.

Look at how much Ross lied about Meek & Wale.

Wale kept it real on the Breakfast Club which made Meek question his loyalty.

Drake made 3 tracks (counting Charged Up and Summer Sixteen) without mentioning the accusations much if at all; why would he reference it for Meek when he was trying to distract away from that whole part of it?

"This for y'all that think that I don't write enough" Was pretty much his stance that he writes but sometimes uses help for hits. That's how I took it anyway

It was basically his version of "don't worry if I write rhymes I write cheques" is how I seen it :yeshrug:

Interesting. All Stan shyt and trolling aside I'd seriously be surprised if Drake doesn't write at all. The same way I'd be surprised if Kanye doesn't at all.

There's a Drake style of rapping. All those personal tracks, he at least had a significant part in writing. The song with Quinten Miller are different experimental flows and a hook, plus when it comes to singing im sure he's had help loads like all other RnB dudes. He's written for other people. Kanye came out and thanked him for writing on TLOP.

The problem on Coli you will never land on the truth because people who hate Drake will say "ahh he never wrote a bar in his life". The defenders will defend but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle :yeshrug:

One could logically assume Drake would have mentioned that on "Back to Back", "Charged Up" or "Summer Sixteen"... But there's no mention of it anywhere in any of those three tracks. :jbhmm:

Doesn't give much credence to what Taxstone says or Quentin not going into detail about anything other than the fight if Drake never addressed it in those records.

And while we're at it, who wrote "Back to Back"?

If someone is responding to someone doing gay shyt . . and they want to deny it do they go "he did gay shyt too"

some of you dude's have half-wit logic

I'll take it from the guy who produced and was actually there when Drake wrote the song over some of you guys obsessively pounding over your keyboards and writing 4 page letters making up conspiracies over Drake.

Daxz says he stripped down the beat—"It was a lot more, it was busier"—but everyone knew it was going to be the craziest thing. He says there was a lot of confidence in the room, and Drake was writing it on the spot—in and out of the booth. "Around the time they were finishing up around the track at 4 a.m., I was sitting in the studio like, 'Is this shyt really gonna go down right now? Are we just gonna drop this randomly out of nowhere?,'" he says. "I didn't take it in completely until the drive home, and when I got home, the entire Internet was going crazy."

This. I'm quite confident in saying drake is quite talented, the same level if not better than any other rapper with the pen and pad.

I just believe he runs his music as a business and has writers too. Do I think he wrote all his hits, absolutely not.

While I don't agree with his method and he's a skeptical artist to me now, it's kinda smart. Keep fresh new talent around to keep you moving forward and the money comin in. I feel like all artists who have different sounds for every album do it honestly.

Edit: I respect meek and live his music too. But if he doesn't have a writer he should get one, his flows and bars get stale/reprtitive at times.
