once, i ‘allowed’ it. that was in June. at that point, he already had been cheating and lying for our entire relationship. i knew he was cheating on me anyways and it hurt me less to be open about it than him to continue to lie, gaslight etc me. at the core, i wasn’t deeply okay with it. i was trying to make myself feel comfortable with something i wasn’t and really hurt me and betrayed me. he treated me like shyt and didn’t know how to be in a honest, loving relationship.

BUT i did find that i enjoy it. it’s just there was too much damage and hurt already caused and trust broken. he’d do things like purposely start fights with me, blame me so he’d have an excuse to break our date plans and not feel guilty about fukking the married women he was cheating on me with on a night we had plans together. not jealousy issues. things like that is why there was so much feelings of hurt and betrayal involved. if i were to get into another serious relationship and we went down that road, it wouldn’t be like the aforementioned. it’d be with someone i completely trust. who is honest and not a deceptive, adulterous liar.
