Since when did LOTPAD come anywhere close to illmatic? There is really no other situation that you can compare this hypothetical to.

As for the question? Why wouldn't Nas have put out more albums? Did he die? Yes, that makes a difference. If he died, he could be Len Bias. If he just chose not to release anymore music, he'd be in the lane that Jay Electroncia is occupying.
