Evan Turner and a 1st rounder for Noel and Rodgriuez: NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Or wait until January 17th and trade Crabbe to the 76ers.
If that's the best Philly can do, then they really fukked up this whole big man situation BADLY. Noel is gone no matter what Philly does, unless they wanna pay Noel 20 mil+ this offseason to play 15-20 minutes a game next season.

Teams will lowball the shyt out of the Sixers, especially for Noel :whew:
As they should. The 76ers are stupid as fukk. The Coli even jumped on that "Trust the Process" bullshyt, claiming that everything was finally coming together now and that at least the Sixers aren't a treadmill team at least -- but that's because they can't even get on that motherfukker right now. They've created a disgusting losing culture over that. They should've traded Noel and/or Okafor this summer, but now they've let it go on this long and they'll get pennies on the dollar. What's the point of having all of these "assets" if you don't know what to do with them?

It's quite a sad situation, Okafor is being very under utilized, and while his defense is porous, Okafor is one those big men that his defense will only improve based on how many touches & involved he is on the offensive side of the game. Plus Brett Brown is not a good coach, his gameplan is horrible....

Brett Brown deserves a pass until we see Embiid and Simmons together. Okafor cannot learn to be even average at defense when he's being rewarded with offensive posessions while being a liability. His post ups slow the game down and he's not a talented passer out of the post so I would rather give all of his possessions to Embiid.

Yall know Noel restricted right? I mean the whole no leverage thing is cool in theory but if they want to fukk around they can fukk around.
fukk around and do WHAT? Keep him and don't play him, have another disgruntled young guy on your team? Pay him and don't play him? Pay him and only play him when Embiid has to take one of his many nights off? Re-sign him and only use him after Okafor has committed a homicide playing for this organization?

And Brett Brown's gotta go too.

The process wasn't all bad. The sixers have a future top 5 player if Embiid stays healthy. If Kupchak didn't pull fukkery in 2015 the sixers could have Noel, Embiid, the Snitch, Saric and Simmons. Or if the Knicks had the third pick in 2015 the sixers would have picked Porzingis. Even now, with Noel, Okafor, the Lakers pick, Saric, the kings pick swap they still have the largest war chest to go after a disgruntled superstar. Even if that superstar is super rare.

I understand that sentiment were your coming from but I have yet to see one once of player development or improvement from Brett Brown and staff. His rotations are bad and in game adjustments are lackluster, he is in the bad end of the SA coaching branch and better as an assistant.

Okafor had many times/moments last time season were he was tuned in playing decent almost good defense. And Okafor is better passer out of the double team than Embiid or Towns at the moment. Okafor will never be a major shot blocker, but positional defense he has had his moments last year. Philadelphia needs to adjust their system for 2 best players at the moment( Embiid & Okafor), or move the player that doesn't fit (Okafor).....

So they did all of that to attempt to do something that's about as likely as finding a needle in a haystack?

What superstar could be in a situation where they'd be disgruntled enough to see being traded/signing to the 76ers was a POSITIVE thing? All that's going to happen is they'll be even MORE disgruntled in Philly. They need a culture change, and Colangelo has been hiding lately.

Philly is one of the better NBA cities, with a future superstar in Embiid and possibly Simmons. Even though I don't consider him a superstar, maybe Paul George could rise and say he doesn't mind being traded. If they truly think Fultz or Josh Jackson is the last cornerstone player they need they could go all on for him. Though that rarely happens in the top 5 picks, but if it did they would have at least two all stars and a superstar - enough to be legit title contenders in an eastern conference with Lebron declining.

Who would want give up anything for Noel? Dude is a trash your get version of Joakim Noah
:mjlol:
Noel was top ten in blocks AND steals at center as a rookie and sophomore. He put up historic defensive rookie stats and has anchored the team to an average defensive ranking in spite of the lack of help off his teammates. He's not an elite defensive prospect - he's an elite defensive player with a high chance at being a future DPOY .

I think he had 14ppg on 60TS% with Ish Smith as his point guard last season. Imagine what he could do with an actual starting guard.
