pac would have grown out his hair, would have dreads and would have been arrested for protesting against the BP oil spill. he may have even joined the Sea Shepherds.

:what:
u ever see pac's hairline?? i highly doubt that scenario.

I don't see how people can say that when two cats from that same generation(Nas & Jay) are still relevant.

How can the watered down Pac & Big(Nas & Jay) stay relevant, but the real mccoys couldn't/wouldn't?:patrice:

And I couldn't imagine any scenario where Pac wouldn't be relevant.Whether it's music, movies, or social activism....As far as a personality, he easily dwarfs Jay & Nas.

No No No just no

Recognize this is the music business

Jay partnered with Dame to release his first album on his own label

Biggie was puff's bytch

Jay had more control and had more of a business foundation to move in this industry in a way to maintain relevance

Biggie....well...again..he was puff's bytch

The fact that Biggie was puff's bytch is enough evidence to show that Big aint have the business acumen to survive in this game

As for the Pac Nas thing....

Nas maintains mild relevance for the simple fact his conflict with Hov da gawd keeps him here :umad: :youngabo: :lolbron:

and Pac...well....he was Suge's bytch and not too right in the head to be here long

I should've known you'd be here:russ:

I'll give you that, though. As far as business savvy, Jay>>>>Big, but i still have to put a asterisk next to that.

Big died at 24 years old.He seemed like a pretty bright dude.I think he would've learned how the industry works and became a better business man with time.

I can rock with most of what u said, except for the fact that Pac was Suge's bytch. Pac was his own man and would have ended up publically speakin out against Suge.

why do you say that?

Every bad boy artist fell off something terrible....BIG just died before he had the chance. None of them have or had longevity :yeshrug:

And Pac's crazy antics would have turned him into a monthly feast for the real nukkas that are outchyere in these streets man. Things got progressively worse in the years after he died and hood nukkas made it their mission to start exposing these rappers that claim to be "thugs" :manny:

Pac wasnt a rastafarian. :what:
The fukk is you even talking about? I was using rastas as an example for the dreads reference. either way PAC died almost 20 years ago. This thread is hypothetical. I'm guessing if he was alive he would have got tired of all the industry bullshyt and become a full time activist. In the process he would have also grown his hair out and eventually started to rock locks. What you gettin so upset about. It's completely hypothetical

LOL, Biggie already had a label before his death and had 3 Executive Producer credits long before Rocafella did anything. Biggie was also managing Puffy so he was going to get more bread from that too. Not to mention a Gold Group and a Platinum Female Artist while Jay debut album barely went Gold. To say Big didn't have any Business Acumen is ridiculous. If he didn't Junior Mafia would of flopped and Lil Kim wouldn't of became one of the biggest female acts in rap history. Let's not forget what Big had planned before his death. Big also had a clothing line already in the works before Rocawear and Sean John. He was getting endorsements from Pepsi and Versace. By the time Jay would of released Bleek and Beans Big would of had over 8 Executive Producer Credits:

Conspiracy 95
Hard Core 96
No Way out 97

--------------------------------

The Commission 98
Cam's Debut 98
Lil Cease Debut 99
Charli-Bmore Debut 99
Lil Kim sophmore 99-00

That was was on Biggie's plate post 97. Big already had his life mapped out Post Bad Boy. All the artist mentioned were on Big and Un's Label not Bad Boy. The Commission was coming out on Big's label not Bad Boy though I'm sure he would of gave Puff a cut of the profits. As for Pac, he had the One Nation and Makaveli Records thing planned but I agree with everyone. I think Pac would of been a big time blockbuster accliamed actor by now and he would only release music lightly. I see Big as an executive but also getting into movies too. They both had really bright futures ahead of them.
