1. On one hand, Pac made very good music before going to Deathrow, but let's be real. Collabing with Daz/Dre/Quik production, the features from Snoop/Dogg Pound, the Deathrow big budget, the energy of the talent around him all helped Pac take AEOM to one of the GOAT level rap albums.
2. On the other hand, he'd likely still be alive if he never felt obligated to Suge the way he did for bailing him out. That jail interview he had showed him in a different mindset, but Suge charged him up and created a whole new Pac that was an enemy to himself.
Could he have made an AEOM caliber album without Deathrow affiliation? Over time, would he have made enough dope music apart from Deathrow to achieve GOAT contender status?
