If you really look at the situation . . that has something to do with it but is a small part of the picture
It would be perfectly normal and expected for him to not be able to sign with Bad Boy if he's in the middle of a contract he can't get out of and if his friends were offering him a deal that's all he would have to say if he wanted to turn them down without their being any hard feelings. Be he was letting them court him and buy him jewelry and stuff . . so tensions mounted. They may of been angry with the way he handled an interview after leaving the courthouse when he said "Why me?" Then he was disrespectful to Jimmy Henchman while on the way to do the verse for Little Shawn. That sealed the deal
These are the same people who essentially set him up all prior to this. They are the ones who raped her allegedly and he is the one who got blamed. She may of even knew them already
