Honestly the majority of people aren't engineers and will forget it anyway. 
When I was in high school I was reasonably good at math and got As/Bs in all my math classes without even trying. Did very well on my math placement test when I got into college.
Ten years later I took a mandatory math placement test because I had a chance to take a free class at a community college and damn near placed into remedial math.

what do you mean by healthcare students? Do you mean physicians, surgeons, dentists etc? I don't know.
Thing is a lot of degrees don't really teach skills, and even at that student loan debt is huge even with all the financial aid people receive.
People aren't smart with their money, rather than living with their parents for a couple years after graduating and getting a job so they can
pay off all their student loan debt, they move out and get a mortgage brand new car etc talking about student loans is a bytch.
