They will have to trade saric to lakers sooner or later

Nah, make him 6th man.

Ntilikina/Saric/Simmons PnR with Markannen would be unguardable.
Ntilikina is the perfect guard who doesn't need to dominate the ball to pair with Simmons. Can be a secondary playmaker, dig in defensively and knock down assisted 3s.
Luwawu will be better than Monk longterm...no need to take him.

Tatum/Smith Jr don't fit with Simmons there. Isaac creates a logjam and isn't a knockdown shooter. Fox is obviously a no-no.

Trading picks for vets only sounds like a good idea until you realize vets aren't in abundance for what you hope to get back in a trade.

Monk and Isaac might be the way to go, though if they need a 4, they're better off with Markkanen

EDIT: Collins would actually be pretty good too even though he's a reach at 4 or 5.

If they get the 4th and 5th?

Malik Monk and Jonathan Isaac.

Yep. But honestly in this situation, the ideal outcome would be taking Monk and trading down.

They'd be better off reaching a little for a guy like Donovan Mitchell in the 20s, have him as the Avery Bradley type next to Monk. Simmons the primary ball handler.

Monk
Mitchell
Covington
Simmons
Embiid

They could even afford to start Saric and play Ben at the 3 with those guards.

I say Smith and Issac mainly cause I'm tired of hearing about Monk. 1 and 4 is the ideal.

Fultz and Issac :takedat:

Anigbogu has literally no offensive game and will not be NBA ready for years....a GM would get fired taking him lotto.

That's definitely Markelle Fultz. He can create his own shot and play off ball. Pair him up with Ben Simmons and it's gonna be highlights all over the place.
What could they trade...Boston...for the first 1st overall though? I imagine they certainly want Markelle

I think they could just play Holmes at the 4 if they want to, he shot the 3 extremely well this year and it wasn't on a low volume. I really just don't like Markannen to be honest :ld:

Isaac would be a long term insurance policy for Covington.

They have a SG with Luwawu who has the look of a 3 & D guy, and maybe even more. They're in a weird position because they do have a lot of young talent already, they still have Korkmaz over in Europe too.

Isaac cannot play the 3. And I'm a big Isaac fan but he has lateral issues at the 3. Not to mention, you fukk up spacing with Ben out there.
