it's a two-fold question:

first is why upgrade to the next-gen? COD, BF4, Watchdogs, GTA5, etc, are all going to be on the current gen

second is why one over the other? if you don't care about the cable-box crap, or bluetooth, then it should be about exclusive games. a slightly better version of a multiplatform game is cool, but kinda weak as a deciding factor

again, having both consoles released at more or less the same time is a new thing. previous consoles were more staggered, so they could get over on just being 'new'. here there is a more clear and direct competition, so the stakes are higher

You'll have two big ass boxes regardless, except now you'll have options for a superior channel surfing experience.

Problem is Spliffy that outside this country, it's useless. It would be better if you had the xbox as your cable box/dvr/game console all in one. The reveal should have focused FIRST on games, then the TV shyt.
