Tanny would have had no choice if he was a brotha. They would not have let him pass the ball that much and would have made sure to tell him to hand it off to Miller.

He would still start given that his backup is Matt Moore or some shyt, and he is still considered to have "upside" because he has good mechanics and athleticism. But I don't think he would have gotten a big contract or just generally be given a free pass and still be considered the future of the team. He's had plenty of time to turn "upside" into consistency, and hasn't done it. And I'm a fan of dude because he went to my school, but he's not a championship QB and that's what you expect with a big contract and top 10 pick
