It depends on the woman. 7-8 is not a big difference. You don't have to be a size queen to prefer an 8. Its as common as 7 but on the Coli where stats that don't apply to Black men are truth, its not. I'm sure an 8 is touching most chiks cervix but it can hit spots a 6 can't if the mans stroke game is on point. It really depends on how deep the woman is tho.
