I don't think the term is always used in that exact manner, but I guess we're worried about being as technical as possible now. I've seen the type of women people would label as submissive and they even label themselves as submissive yet they're still able to think for themselves. My main point is that just because a woman is submissive and wants to please their partner that doesn't mean that they go along with everything and can't think for themselves. There's a difference between a doormat and a submissive woman in my opinion.

People continue to not get the difference between arguing and expressing what they think like an adult. There's nothing wrong with a woman disagreeing, but I would only associate with a woman who can disagree in a respectful way and without confrontation.
