it's all these damn comic book TV shows. waaaaay too many at the moment with a lot more on the way

I think the movies are doing just fine. marvel studios (avengers), warner bros (DC) & 20th century fox (x-men, deadpool) are all different enough from eachother tonally that superhero flicks can go on for another 10 years or so without serious fatigue while making a ton of money in the process

all these wack ass TV shows, that are unable to live up to the promise of the big-budget superhero movies, are what's gonna kill the superhero genre with over-saturation

Outside of Supergirl, I don't watch none of them. The only reason I watch Supergirl, is because it's from a different perspective(a woman). There's only oh so many times you can see a hero save the day, it'd be great if they showed people get offed and the villains win.

I think if something were to cause it, it'll be Infinity War Pt. I & II and Justice League Pt. I & II. Those are gonna be four movies on a scale so unprecedented that whatever comes next might just fall completely flat.

I think if there was going to be Superhero fatigue it would've happened by now though. Superhero movies/shows at this point are a legit subgenre. People aren't going to get sick of them anymore than they'l get sick of comedies or action flicks.

It's easy to understand why someone hasn't or wouldn't watch flash CW has a stink and some might not be into all that teenybopper soapy shyt. Daredevil though is cut from a different cloth all together, that ish is gritty. I could understand if a woman refused to watch it due to the violence but a dude?

Who says you need to watch all of em?hell for the life of me I can't get sit through a minute of flash and arrow. Gave up on trash like AoS and Lucifer is a superhero show in name alone. Only shows on air that's any good is supergirl, Gotham and legends (which at best has potential)
