My cousins friend who lives in New Orleans since last summer told me he has been talking to people who live down there almost near Uptown and he said that if Soulja Slim was part of CMR instead of No Limit that he may be alive today.

If you notice nobody messed with CMR at all and all those rappers are still around. If he was part of CMR he would have had better protection from Slim and Baby and Mannie Fresh.

If you noticed BG is still alive and he walks the hood streets all day long. I think it was a poor career move for him not to have chose CMR over No limit. i mean he rapped with BG and Juvenile he should have just went there.

Hold on there...
Google the history of Cash Money's first group UNLV
At the time Soulja Slim died an artist with Cash Money had been killed already so there goes that theory...

Also you mentioned protection and put Mannie Fresh in the equation... The only thing Mannie Fresh can protect is a box of donuts...

Its no difference between signing wit cmr or no limit on a street level, anybody could get touched in the streets in n.o. Ain't nobody safe, yellow boy got killed, bg, juvi, Turk dope fiends, Wayne couldn't walk the streets like that at all, and bg aint have nothin to do wit cash money since like 01, 02, magnolia shorty got killed, and when slim got killed he was beefing wit no limit
