That was incorrect speculation that unfortunately has become accepted as fact by those who haven't cared to actually research the topic.

Colt Cabana had Dr. Tom Pritchard on the podcast, and he said basically that Hero had done all the things the office asked him to - he leaned up a lot - but that he wasn't shaking the right hands and playing the game. I guess he thought his work spoke for itself and he didn't have to.

He ran up against the Wellness Policy, though, and that's why he didn't get a contract when Cesaro did. They brought him in a few months later, when his testosterone levels had evened out.

Actually all of what you said is untrue.

So WWE did not want to sign Hero because of his elevated testosterone levels. Hero explained to them that he is taking nothing and he is one of a rare bunch of men that naturally have levels that high.

So WWE spent extra money testing him more and it was determined that he was not lying.

So they then signed him.
